Brian Dickinson has been a fixture on the Canadian jazz scene for over thirty-fiveyears. He has performed internationally with artistsincluding Lee Konitz, Jerry Bergonzi, Michael and Randy Brecker, Pat LaBarbera, Kirk MacDonald, Kenny Wheeler and John Abercrombie. He is a multiple Juno award winner with two recent nominations for his recordings, “Fishs Eddy”,a trio offering featuring the bass work of George Mraz and “The Rhythm Method”, a quintet recording. His most recent recording is, “Music For Jazz Orchestra” (October 2017), a recording of original music for big band featuring some of Canada’s best, including: Kelly Jefferson, Kevin Turcotte, John MacLeod, Luis Deniz, Perry White and Al Kay, among others. As a sideman, he has played on over eighty recordings.
