Tickets Available for Headliner Shows  - Tickets are still available for  headliner shows. Corea/Alexander sold out. Tickets for some shows are very limited, so don't delay. Buy online at, at the Ticket Shop  or call 585-454-2060.  If still available, tickets also on sale at the door.

Club Pass Ticket Exchange - Redeem Your Club Pass Ticket for a Pass Starting June 20th (NO SOONER) in advance of attending any show. Tickets cannot be exchanged at venues. Bring your printed ticket or show the ticket order on your mobile device to one of these convenient locations:

    Two New Posters On Sale This Year - Meet the Artist,  David Cowles June 29th Noted illustrator David Cowles is once again the creator of our annual jazz fest poster as well as a special 15th Anniversary poster. This is the 13th year David has been designing the festival's poster. Both posters will be available for sale along with a lot of other official festival gear in the Merchandise Tent on Jazz Street during the festival for $20 each. You can meet David and have him sign your poster on June 29th in the Merch Tent, from 6-8PM.

    Popular Photo Booth & Lip Sync Challenge Are Back Thanks to Xerox! - Stop by The Sweet Shot, a free, interactive photo booth enabled by Xerox® Digital Signage. Share your photo instantly and take home a personalized poster! Donations benefit AutismUp.

    The Lip Sync Challenge also returns, to benefit AutismUp. Think of it as Ice Bucket Challenge meets Lip Sync Battle - and a fun way to support a worthy cause. Challenge your friends and participate at home or at the festival. See for more info.

    Feet on the Street, Chalk Art and First Aid from Rochester Regional Health

    Rochester Regional Health employees will be out each night distributing items to help you enjoy the fest. Sun too bright? Sunglasses. A little mist in the air? Ponchos, of course.  Children getting a little antsy? How about a temporary tattoo to keep them busy and happy? Look for the blue vests to see what other surprises they have in their bags.

    Chalk Artist, Daniel Butler will capture special festival moments documenting musical memories before your eyes. Come by his "studio" outside the RRH Big Tent each night and see his masterpieces is on display. Several pieces will be available in an online auction. Proceeds will benefit the Rochester Regional Health Foundations.

    Rochester Regional Health First Aid Tent - is located outside the Merch Tent at Gibbs and Main. Nurses will be in the tent from 5-9 p.m. nightly. Blisters, scrapes, or something not quite right? Stop by for advice and also pick up hand sanitizer. The friendly staff will be happy to help you get back out into the excitement of Jazz Fest.

    • Kids Workshops: June 27 - July 1 - This series of five jazz workshops sponsored by Wegmans will give young music students the exceptional opportunity to play and meet, listen to and learn from professional jazz musicians performing at the festival. It is hosted by Bob Sneider, Eastman School of Music and led by five musicians performing at XRIJF. Free, no registration required. Attend one or more days. For grade school and high school music students. Held at Eastman School of Music Ray Wright Room (Room 120), 26 Gibbs St. from 1:00-2:30 PM.     Donate Unused Musical Instruments  - Rochester Education Foundation (REF) will collect new and used musical instruments for Rochester city school students at the Festival. Bring instruments to REF's table (space donated by M&T Bank) in the Merchandise Tent on Jazz Street (Gibbs St) during the festival from 5-7:30PM June 24 - July 2. Contact REF at (585) 271-5790 or

    Founded in 2002, XRIJF is celebrating its 15th anniversary in 2016. Produced by John Nugent and Marc Iacona, XRIJF has become one of the nation's most respected music festivals, navigating all genres of creative improvised music. This year's nine day festival, June 24 to July 2, will feature 1500 artists from 14 countries who will perform at 19 venues in more than 325 concerts including 99 free shows and events.
