Club Passes On Sale Fri. Oct. 26 for 2019 CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival

October 23, 2018

All Passes Shareable

2 New Venues! Geva Theatre Center and M&T Bank Pavilion

Rochester, NY—October 26, 2018—Club Passes for the 2019 CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival, will go on sale Friday, October 26 at 10 a.m. at early bird prices at or by calling (585) 454-2060.

The Club Pass is the festival's popular value pass to discovery, with access to more than 220 Club Pass shows at 12 Club Pass venues. Music fans can experience music from some of today's most accomplished artists from around the world at significant savings over individual show tickets.

The festival's 18th edition will be held from June 21 to 29, 2019 in multiple indoor and outdoor venues in downtown Rochester, New York. The 2018 festival wrapped up with a record attendance of 208,000.

John Nugent, Co-producer and Artistic Director said, "Based on the popularity and demand for the Shareable Club Pass that we introduced last year, this year all passes will be fully shareable and transferable. No photos will be needed on any passes. This will give patrons the freedom to share the use and the cost of passes and also make the exchange process in June fast and easy. Most people attend an average of five shows a day, the individual ticket cost for two shows a day for nine days would be almost $600 so the Pass offers big savings.

Marc Iacona, Co-Producer, and Executive Director said, "We're adding two new Club Pass venues for 2019. The new M&T Bank Pavilion will be located on Parcel 5 on Main Street and will accommodate 1000 patrons for 21 Club Pass shows."

"We are also pleased to welcome Geva Theatre Center to our Club Pass family of venues for 2019. Geva will be home to two Club Pass shows all nine nights of the festival.

The new venues replace Harro East Ballroom and Anthology, which will not return as venues in 2019. The festival is awaiting confirmation on the use of Xerox Auditorium since the building is for sale. The Little Theatre, formerly a venue, will be unavailable in 2019 due to the next phase of renovation, but we hope to return there in the future.
