If we are able to proceed with our plans, we will follow all guidelines as specified by our health and government officials. We will also take additional precautions to provide our patrons with masks and hand sanitizer.

2020 Headliner Shows Status

 
The following headliner shows are canceled and could not be rescheduled to our new Oct 2-10, 2020 dates due to artist and/or venue unavailability.

If you hold tickets to Canceled Headliner Shows, you will receive an email from the festival with your ticket options and how to let us know your preferences. 
  • Refund - We will provide a refund for the full show value of tickets purchased. Since we do not own the ticketing system we use, we appreciate your understanding that we are unable to refund service fees. Refunds will be processed beginning May 1, 2020.
  • RIJF Credit - We will provide an RIJF credit to you for full ticket purchase price toward a future festival headliner ticket, club pass or merchandise purchase in 2021 or 2022. This will be a big help to assure the future of the festival following the losses we will be sustaining this year due to these unexpected turn of events. 
These headiner shows are still in the process of being rescheduled and specific dates will be announced as soon as our new schedule is confirmed. New ticket sales are on hold until specific dates are announced.

Club Pass Tickets

As we have previously noted, Club Passes will be good at the postponed rescheduled festival in October. If you cannot use it in October for any reason, you will receive a credit to use it for our 20th Anniversary Festival in 2021 or at our festival in 2022. This credit will assure you that your ticket is good for up to two years.  So if you are unable to use your ticket this year, you will not sustain any price increase if you use your pass in 2021 or 2022.

You do not need tickets for any free shows.  All shows go on rain or shine.  Food and beverages available at all outdoor stage venues,  Bring lawn chairs or stools.

3 & 9-Day Club Passes for Access to Club Pass Series Shows

The Club Pass is a unique value pass that allows you to sample music from some of the finest artists from around the world!

  • Come and go as you please from 228+ Club Pass shows at 13 official Club Pass venues. 
  • Save off the individual entry cover charges of $35 for Kilbourn Hall and $30 at all other Club Pass venues.
  • If you use your pass for just two shows a day for nine days, the individual ticket cost would be almost $600. Most people attend an average of five shows a day. The savings add up! 
  • You have the freedom and flexibility to see as many shows as you want each day.

Redeeming Your Club Pass Ticket for a Club Pass

You may redeem your Club Pass Ticket for a Club Pass at the Festival Ticket Shop at 100 East Ave. Rochester, NY. Dates and hours to be annouanced. 

Please note: you must redeem your ticket for a Pass before entering any venue. Tickets cannot be exchanged at venues.

Entry to Club Pass shows is with the Club Pass or cash at the door, no advance sales. - $30 ($35 Kilbourn Hall) $30 all other Club Pass venues. M&T Bank ATMs are conveniently located throughout the festival site. Entry prices are the same for children, adults, students, and seniors.  Doors open 30 minutes before shows at all venues. 

Mar 17 to Festival – $254 plus $6 service charge; $8 if mailed
  • Unlimited access to Club Pass shows at all 12 Club Pass venues all 9 days during the festival.

Redeeming Your Club Pass Ticket for a Club Pass

You may redeem your Club Pass Ticket for a Club Pass at the Festival Ticket Shop at 100 East Ave. Rochester, NY. Dates to be announced. Hours are 12 Noon to 5 PM, M-F through June 18 and 10 AM - 11 PM daily during the fest.

Save Time in Line at Kilbourn Hall and Max of Eastman Place 

At Kilbourn Hall, Max of Eastman Place and Geva Theatre we offer a wristband system to save patrons time spent in line, time to get food and beverages before the show or to enjoy other shows and activities around the festival.

Here's How It Works

Club Pass holders and those paying cash at the door may line up and receive a color-coded wristband that will specify a return time to see the show. You must be present and in line to get a wristband. Come back at your assigned time and enjoy the show!

KILBOURN – 6:00 PM shows only

Color-coded wristbands will be issued starting around 4 PM

First 100 wristbands - Entrance time 5:30-5:35

101-250 - Entrance time 5:35-5:40

251-400 - Entrance time 5:40-5:50

MAX – 6:15 PM shows only

Color-coded wristbands will be issued starting around 4:15 PM

First 50 wristbands - Entrance time 5:45-5:50

51-100 - Entrance time 5:50-5:55

101-230 - Entrance time 5:55-6:05

  • Color-coded wristbands for the 5:30 show will be handed out starting at 4:00 PM

RIJF Online Ticketing System

  • When you purchase tickets via the rochesterjazz.com secure ordering system you will receive a unique patron ID and E-ticket with a barcode. Customers then have several options as to how to redeem their E-tickets.

    Only one scan per bar code is possible. All online sales final. No exchanges, no refunds.
  • All headliner tickets will be scanned at the point of entry to Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.
  • Print your headliner E-tickets at home and bring it to the festival to be scanned.
  • Take a photo of your E-ticket with your smartphone, and bring it to the festival to be scanned for entry to a headliner show. No paper needed!
  • For those who prefer a ticket be mailed, tickets will be mailed for a fee of $2 per order.
  • For those without online access, call the office at 585-454-2060, to order a Club Pass or headliner ticket.

Once redeemed for an official pass, the pass is not transferable.  The resale of a ticket for more than its face value without the written consent of the CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival  (RIJF, d/b/a RIJF, LLC) is prohibited by law.  As a festival patron, you assume all risk and danger incidental to attending festival performances, inside and outside any and all venues whether occurring prior to, during or after the said show(s). 
  • You assume all risk and danger of being injured in any manner and you agree that the management, its agents, and the performers are not responsible or liable for any injuries resulting from such causes. 

No alcohol, drugs or weapons are allowed in any RIJF venues. Food or glass containers may be allowed in some RIJF venues, solely at the discretion of venue management.  No recording devices, still or video cameras permitted in any festival venues. No transmission or aiding in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of any festival performance. You hereby consent to the reasonable search for alcoholic beverages, drugs, or weapons. You hereby consent to the use of your image or likeness incidental to any display, transmission, or reproduction of the event. Festival staff reserve the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by the festival to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein. In the event of a cancellation for which there is no rescheduled date, a refund for this ticket may be issued at the option of the festival and may not include additional ticketing fees (i.e., ticketing operations fee, shipping fees, etc.).
