Final Day of the 19th Edition!

Rochester, NY–June 25, 2022–It's the ninth and final day of the
CGI Rochester International Jazz Festival 19th edition. Free headliner shows play on two big stages tonight, City of Rochester MLK Park stage presented by Wegmans and City of Rochester Midtown Stage at Parcel 5 presented by Radec. Free shows continue at the Avangrid Foundation RG&E Fusion stage and the City of Rochester Jazz Street Stage presented by The Community Foundation.
This year's 9-day festival will deliver 325 shows at 19 diverse indoor and outdoor venues in downtown Rochester NY. All venues are within walking distance of each other. More than 1750 musicians are coming from around the world to play. A record 130
shows are free this year including the entire
headliner series.
Jam sessions close out the festival nightly at the Hyatt Regency Rochester, where you never know who will show up to play.

G. Lovegrew up equally enthralled with folk, blues, and rap, devouring everything from Lead Belly and Run D.M.C. to John Hammond and the Beastie Boys. After migrating to Boston, he and his band, Special Sauce, broke out in 1994 with their Gold-selling self-titled debut, which earned widespread critical acclaim for its bold vision and adventurous production.

Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors has always charged listeners’ hearts and minds while inspiring them to think, feel, dance, and love, never more so than on his 2019 album Dragons. His most collaborative to date, the record is his first with featured artists & songwriters including Lori McKenna, Natalie Hemby, Sean McConnell, The Lone Bellow, and Ellie Holcomb.
